It’s almost that time again friends: time for me to take off in search of new treasures to re-work and blingify in time for the holidays!!!
I absolutely cannot wait. This year I’m heading to France and England for my annual treasure hunt with my charming mother for support and artistic imput. I’ve been busy compiling my little list of desirables. Notions from the past that I hope to find. With that said, I am always open to hearing your imput. What little objects of nostalgia do you long for?
Here is my little wish list: Bakelite buttons, old bells, granny gone wild brooches, victorian glass vials, and coins galore. As we know, I have a special love of old fishing gear, so fingers crossed I come across the mother load this year…Oh, and I can’t forget decorative brass spoons.
Yep, the bling nerds list is complete.
Feel free to email me with your list too…I dont want to forget anything now do I?

I’m really craving rich and vivid hues this fall…

Fishing spinner charm necklaces: 1850’s-1970’s. These beauties came from Latvia and Russia!

Really craving bracelets this fall. Could it be my flamboyant use of hand gestures?…oh, probably!

For anyone who is in the midst of a bling crisis, I have dropped of a bundle of blingy goodies to both Bamboo Ballroom and Ponytials and Horseshoes…

As many of you know, I’ve been missing from my charming bling studio for the last month. Beginning again October 2nd I would love to have visitors up to check out the new goods. Sorry to keep everyone waiting. Feel free to email me for an appointment.

I have been trying to come up with a new system of organization for the studio, but unfortuntately it looks very similar to how it did before, but with the addition of one very loud, boombastic statement chair. It’s pretty cool, and quite literally matches everything because it is covered in a fabric that has includes every colour known to man. Come see it for yourselves.

I’m on a bit of bracelet kick this fall. These are available by appointment at my studio, or at Bamboo Ballroom and Ponytails and Horseshoes. Feel free to visit the studio after October 1st as I’m in a bit of a re-vamp stage which has lasted on and off for the span of two years. Who knows, maybe one day it will be finished…I’m sure my lovely studio mate would just be thrilled.

This week I am letting out a sigh of relief. Fringe is finished, and it’s the beginning of my very favorite season. It’s no secret that I absolutely LOVE fall. I always feel that fall is the time to dream big. Make plans. Start new. With that said, I am taking the month of September to revamp my quaint little bling-filled world. If you’re in need of some BBB treasures please pay me a visit at the 124th street farmers market from 5-8pm on Thursdays. The liitle studio will be closed for visitors until the last week of September, but please don’t hesitate to send me an email with any questions or concerns.
I hope that everyone has a splendid fall, and will see you all soon. Stay tuned for little teasers of what I have in store for fall and winter. It’s going to be an exciting year, with heaps of new and exciting vintage finds to adorn the seasons.
